Before joining Lubbers, Boer & Douma, Paul was a partner at De Brauw. Prior to that, he served as resident partner of Loyens & Volkmaars (the predecessor of Loyens & Loeff) in its offices in New York and London. Paul also held the position of managing director of investment banking and corporate finance at Merrill Lynch in London. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the non-tax considerations of corporate transactions. Paul has gained extensive experience both domestically and internationally.

Paul is a renowned expert in Dutch and international tax law. His practice involves advising multinational corporations at all levels. He frequently works on special projects and has testified as an expert witness in front of the U.S. Tax Court on several occasions.
